Maybe you’ve spent too much of your life obsessed with food and your appearance. You’ve structured your days around rigid rules and sacrificed enjoyment of time spent with loved ones.

Maybe you find yourself swinging between extreme control and restriction to what feel like out of control binges.

Maybe you’ve begun to awaken from the spell that diet culture and anti-fat bias has cast on you. You’re seeing the harm that it causes on an individual and societal level. But emotionally you’re still clinging to disordered behaviors surrounding food and exercise.

We believe that your body has natural wisdom and knows how to function just as it’s supposed to. We believe that all bodies are good and worthy exactly as they are.

We practice from an Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size model. We also recognize the ways class, race, disability, and gender all intersect with issues related to food and body image.

Our goal is not necessarily to help you love your body (if that happens, great!), but to offer you guidance and compassion as you learn to trust yourself, reattune your thinking and choices to be in line with your values, and unburden yourself from the anxiety that comes from feeling unsafe in your body.

It’s possible to make peace with food. It’s possible to make peace with your body.
