Trauma
Trauma can leave lasting imprints—on your thoughts, your body, your relationships, and your sense of safety.
We offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy for individuals—a gentle, structured approach that helps your brain process and integrate difficult experiences so they no longer hold the same intensity.
EMDR follows phases: history and planning, preparation, targeted memory processing with bilateral stimulation, installation of positive beliefs, body-centered processing, and closure/reevaluation. Through guided sets, EMDR reduces emotional intensity, reframes negative self-beliefs, and integrates adaptive information so memories become less triggering.
Many people find that this approach helps them feel more grounded, less reactive, and more like themselves again.
At its core, this work is about helping your nervous system do what it was always meant to do: process and heal—at your pace, and in a way that honors your lived experience and identities.
Our clinicians have completed specialized training in EMDR and will work collaboratively with you to determine if it’s a good fit for your goals and needs.
We may also incorporate other modalities, such as DBT, to support grounding, emotional regulation, and care for your nervous system along the way.
